Vivid, stretchy, wash-durable transfers that work on any fabric - cotton, polyester, blends, and dark garments. Direct-to-film, printed in-house in the West Island.
What DTF is, when it beats DTG and screen printing, and the few cases where we'd point you elsewhere.
Direct-to-film prints your design onto a film, then heat-presses it onto the garment. The result is a vivid, slightly raised print with a soft stretch - it bends and recovers without cracking, and the colours pop even on black garments.
DTF is our go-to for dark garments, polyester and performance fabrics, nylon, blends, and anything DTG can't print well. It's also ideal for small and mixed orders - different garments and sizes in one run, no per-garment setup.
For very large solid-colour runs (250+ identical tees), screen printing can be cheaper per unit. For an ultra-soft, no-feel print on white cotton, DTG can edge it out. We'll tell you when another method serves you better.

DTF (direct-to-film) prints your design onto a special film, which is then heat-pressed onto the garment. It produces vivid, durable, slightly stretchy prints that work on virtually any fabric and any garment colour - including dark and synthetic materials.
Neither is universally better - they suit different jobs. DTF prints on any fabric and colour and is great for small, mixed and synthetic orders. DTG gives an ultra-soft, no-feel print but works best on light cotton. We recommend the right one for your garments and art.
DTF holds up well through regular washing when cared for properly - turn garments inside out and wash cold. The print stretches and recovers without cracking, which is why it's popular for performance and athletic wear.
Yes - that's where DTF shines. It prints opaque, vivid colour on black, navy and any dark garment, and bonds well to polyester, nylon and blends where other methods struggle.
